Overview

GreyMind 1.0.4 adds privacy-respecting Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics, introduces user-controlled telemetry preferences, improves the booking confirmation screen layout, and enables R8 code optimisation for better app performance.

New Features

  • Firebase Analytics (optional): Pseudonymous usage data helps us understand which features are most useful. All collection is opt-in and disabled by default. No personal information, inquiry messages, or contact details are sent.
  • Firebase Crashlytics (optional): Crash and diagnostic reports help us identify and fix technical failures. All collection is opt-in. No personal information is included in crash reports.
  • Privacy controls: Separate toggles for usage analytics and crash reporting are available from the Privacy screen, accessible from the About tab.

Improvements

  • Booking confirmation screen: Reduced excessive blank vertical space. The confirmation content now appears near the top of the screen while preserving scrolling, accessibility, and bottom navigation.
  • App performance: R8 code minification and resource shrinking enabled, reducing APK size and improving startup time.
  • Android SDK update: Updated compileSdk and targetSdk to API 36.
